Hi!!,
Is anyone attending Stanbridge University ADN program in March?
Hello! I'm new to the website! I just wanted to know who's in the program for the ADN right now and give me info on how it's going for them? How much does it cost, pros or cons etc. I'm currently finishing my pre-regs at a community college so was thinking of going here if I didn't get accepted else where. Thanks!
Hi Ec,
I just got into the next cohort that starts in January 2016. I had all the prereqs done, and after they accepted my transfer credits, the total comes out to about 57k for the ADN program. Tuition maxes out at about 70 if you need prereqs still. I've had a great experience with their admissions department and they've been able to answer all my questions so far.
Our clinical sites include Orange Coast Memorial, WAMC, Western Medical Santa Ana, Garden Grove among others. I can't attest to how competitive the program is but the caliber in my cohort is very good. We have about 15 LVNs in my class.
The representative mentioned clinical sites in Los Angeles County. Do you know the specific hospitals in LA County she's referring to? If so, for which rotation? Ty!
Thank you so much!! So I'm scheduled to take it in a little over a week! I'm just a little concerned on the math sections since it's been so long since I've done this stuff!
I bought an Accuplacer study book online and it looks like there is Arithmetic, Elementary Algebra, and College Level Math as three different sections to the test. Stanbridge gave out a study packed but it only includes the sections for Arithmetic and Elementary Algebra (College Level Math is crossed out).
Does this mean the College Level Math is not included for Stanbridge? I'm just wondering what types of problems I should be studying for.
Hopefully that makes sense and thank you for your time!
Hi nursemichele82 - I see you are attending Stanbridge. When you applied and then had the interview they say that an essay has to be written, what was that like? How was the interview? Do you like the school? It seems there are so many applicants and only a hand full are picked. Saying a prayer to hopefully get in. :)
Thanks for any input you may have.

Thats interesting. I had tested very well, had multiple letter of recommendations, and I have LVN experience. Funny how another person you knew, who barely made the cut off for English and didnt pass math got an interview.
