St. Petersburg online RN-BSN reviews.

Updated:   Published

I have spent time reading through other posts, but really haven't found the info I'm looking for.

Has anyone been through or in SPC's online RN-BSN program?

How is the course load?

Do you like it?

Has anyone gone on to get their Nurse Practitioner?

Have you heard any negative about it.

Thanks,

Anthony

I don't have any answers for you, but I'm also interested in hearing from others about the program.

anyone please!

I too would love to know that info!

thank you! thank you!

I decided to start the program even though there were few reviews. They are accredited by everyone so, little to worry about there. I will be done this term. It has been a good program. LOTS of writing though. I am a travel nurse and have been able to take care of everything no matter where I was living. If you are a Florida resident you can't beat the price. If you guys have any questions feel free to PM me.

Yea I plan on going to spc too its only 70 dollars a credit if you live in the state of Florida. I also like the idea that they have 3 clinical rotations 40 hours each since I am finishing my RN through Excelsior college. I wan't have to hear that I did not get any clinicals

It is indeed a very good deal because they are a community college that added the RN to BSN component a few years ago and kept the community college price.

I've had several co-workers go through it and they really haven't complained too much about it.

is the program only for locals?

I live in miami, and I am very interested in going there. so would I have to attend class at all or is everything strictly online?

I decided to apply to my local state university RN-BSN program. As you may have heard on the news there has been tons of budget cuts to the university state schools---- so I am very much hoping I could get accepted.

But if not, then SPC will be my back up choice. I wonder if I should wait for FIU to accept or not accept me

or should I just go ahead and apply to SPC???

A friend of mine is in the St. Petersburg program and loves it. I hope this helps.

I know of 4 nurses that have either gone through the program or is currently going through the program, and they are quite enthused. I'm definitely leaning towards this school for my BSN. One thing I like is that you only take one class at a time. You are still finished within two years (about 5 semesters including summer).
