Hey new member but very familiar to this site!! Any one applying to SPSON for the Jan 2016 class?? What did you think of the SLE exam? What should I expect from the Hesi exam? Being that this school is not Acen accredited would that make a degree from the school useless? And can you transfer to an accredited BA program once you complete St. Paul's and pass the nclex?? Interested in the program and worried at the same time!!!
Yeah I know what you mean. I live in queens not to far from the school but I've heard parking is bad so I'll be using public transportation as well. And she is she's amazing! No the nursing committee make the last decision. And no the amount the state provides to students for financial aid is not sufficient enough to cover this schools tuition that's why most students unless paying out of pocket takeout loans.
I just got a phone call yesterday for being accepted! I will be attending January for the Day classes!
I was busy when getting the call, so I am not sure on what to bring. Ms. Lopez just said to come on Tuesday and I will be meeting Financial Aid & Admissions.
Since you did it all, what did you bring? Seems like there's still a long way to go before fully entering right? I wanted an official letter of acceptance though, do you think they will send one?
Before getting accepted not much just my transcripts and 2 lettersof recommendation. As of the past two weeks I transferred about 16 credits, did my background check online, did my drug screening, submitted my medical forms, and I'm starting the BLS course this upcoming week.

Hey congrats!!! I am attending day classes as well. Once you go in and meet with admissions they'll provide with a form you have to sign it's like an enrollment agreement which states your starting and graduation date and the cost of your tuition which varies if you're transferring credits, another form for transferring credits, they'll provide you with a paper you have to bring to a quest diagnostics for your drug testing which the cost is included in the tuition, you'll also receive a paper to go online to pay and do your background check. Have you done your medical forms? If no you'll have to go to your primary care doctor and get a physical done vaccines and just the norm. Oh and last you'll pay the 100$ for the BLS course we all need to do before class starts. I feel that everyone's process varies in order. therefore not everything I am telling you will happen in the same order as it did for me. When you meet with financial aid they'll go over loans, financial aid (fafsa) and if you'll need any additional payment plan etc.

I'm a day student. I'm going in tomorrow to submit my medical forms and finalize paper work with financial aid. What about you will you be a day or evening student? And it took them exactly 2 weeks after the interview to call me back. I'm sure you'll soon hear back from them!
