I'm curious if anybody got their acceptance letter yet?
I just recently took my entrance test - it was easy. They changed the test style. After the first test comes the HESI which I know would be more challenging. The name of the entrance test is not DET anymore. It stinks considering on the application packet it says that the test would be DET and even recommended to buy the book guide - I bought it unfortunately. Anyway, anybody applied to other nursing school aside from st.paul's?
Arg anyone waiting for their acceptance letter? What's your GPA? Are you in the morning or evening program?
hidoes anyone know when they stopped accepting applications..i had taken both the 12 minute exam and the hesi exam, passed them both by 12/8/10..was hoping to get in for january 2010.still waiting for a letter.guess i am getting a little anxious..thank you
For queens or staten island? Staten island is having orientation on Monday and Tuesday
Hi All - new to the SP thread. I just got my letter today saying I've qualified for the program (assuming I pass the background/drug test and pay the deposit on time). The only thing is it doesn't specify whether it's the day or night program. I applied to the day program but told them in my interview that I was willing to attend either. Is it safe to assume it's the day program? It wasn't clear.
Great! Congratulations! I am also applying for this school; how have you found the school so far? What types of questions should I expect on the interview? What type of exam was given? Do they accept credits from other colleges? I am really looking forward to qualifying as well.
Thanks for any information that you can give.
Hello everyone!
I'm considering Saint Paul's. I've been reading the bog and i have a couple of questions. If i understand it correctly, there are two test, the wonderlic and the hesi? What book do you recommend for the hesi, i know some of you have mention "hesi study guide", but which one? I want to apply for the fall of 2011. I am a horrible test taker , so i want to prepare as much as i can. Thank you so much for your help.

I would say buy all you're books online, used. I used half.com, there is no point in buying them at the book store in school. As for advice just get ready to put in some real hard work, a lot of stress is coming you're way. =)
