I'm curious if anybody got their acceptance letter yet?
I just recently took my entrance test - it was easy. They changed the test style. After the first test comes the HESI which I know would be more challenging. The name of the entrance test is not DET anymore. It stinks considering on the application packet it says that the test would be DET and even recommended to buy the book guide - I bought it unfortunately. Anyway, anybody applied to other nursing school aside from st.paul's?
Arg anyone waiting for their acceptance letter? What's your GPA? Are you in the morning or evening program?
anyone? :bluecry1:

I also applied for the Fall 2010 semester also but wanted to know if you took the HESI exam? If so, how was it?
I'm still waiting for their call. I'm not confident that I am going to get accepted though. When did you send your application?
I submitted my application around November.I was nervous that no one would contact me either since the months rolled by but I got called last week to take a wonderlic and told they would call me to schedule the HESI. I purchased the study guide from them and have been in contact via email. I know a lot of people are being considered but don't give up hope. They will contact you.

For the Queens school or the Staten Island school? I applied to the Queens one around January and I took the first test couple weeks after. I got a call to take the HESI this friday and im pretty sure im in the first group of applicants to be taking it. From what i've been told the testing will be going on til early May.
I applied to the school in Whitestone. How long after the Wonderlic did they call you to schedule the HESI? Would it be possible for you to email me after your exam on Friday? I am not looking for answers, I just want to know what the test is compromised of and what grade level. I brought the study guide from the school last week and it doesn't seem helpful. I've been studying some old text books and a NCLEX study guide. My email is [email protected]. Thank you sooooo much and good luck!!!!!
I took the wonderlic in february and they called me a few days ago. Thank you, ill let you know what to expect on it. If you actually search HESI a2 you'll find helpful tips posted by people who had already taken it. I had already bought the DET book also so I've been studying that and the HESI book. Everything seems pretty basic and you sound prepared so I wouldn't stress.I'm just kind of nervous about vocab because I heard they only use half the words from the book. So well see ill let you guys know how it goes.
So which one did u guys apply to morning or evening class?

I recently took the HESI exam too, and now I'm just waiting for a response. I did well on the exam but my gpa isn't too high. I'm so nervous
Ewe07, what kind of material was on the HESI? How long was the exam?
its 4 hours. And it's basic math, grammar, and reading comprehension. It's not so bad
