I'm curious if anybody got their acceptance letter yet?
I just recently took my entrance test - it was easy. They changed the test style. After the first test comes the HESI which I know would be more challenging. The name of the entrance test is not DET anymore. It stinks considering on the application packet it says that the test would be DET and even recommended to buy the book guide - I bought it unfortunately. Anyway, anybody applied to other nursing school aside from st.paul's?
Arg anyone waiting for their acceptance letter? What's your GPA? Are you in the morning or evening program?
I took the HESI exam about two weeks ago and failed the vocab.. I just graduated highschool and i dont understand how St Pauls expects 18 year olds to know all these RN terms that ive never even heard of.. can anyone help me? this is the only section i failed.. Is there anything i can study that will help me pass this test? thanks :)
I don't think it has to do with age, but your ability to take tests and your knowledge of vocabulary. I believe that if you are a HS graduate who did well, you should be able to pass. Also, from what I've heard, the HESI vocabulary is much easier than what you'll be exposed to in nursing school.
I'm sure there are books you could study to brush up, before you take it again.
Hey is anyone else having this problem? I received letters in the mail that also included some contact info if you had any questions for the school and one for the Financial aid counselor. They included email addresses for them, it says to contact the Financial Aid counselor once you are done with your FAFSA so set up an appointment to discuss loans and such. I emailed both and they were bounced back to me as invalid emails?
I am using GMAIL, maybe I put the address incorrectely...I will double check when I get home. Just wondering if anyone else encountered the same problem. THANKS!
hi guys i received my acceptance letter and I just did my drug test and background so I should be starting in August(evening) at the queens location... im very excited.... also quick question... my friend took the test but failed part of the vocabulary do you think that will hurt her chances even if she passes the second time??
Really...well every time I am in contact with them I manage to throw it a "Hey make sure its for the EVENING program"
But I will wait for that call. Did anyone get a Financial Aid packet yet? I filled out everything online, I am just waiting to go see my PMD and get my health history thing filled out and handed in. Other than that I haven't received any other information from the school.
Any updates?
PLEASE LET ME PASS
