I am applying to the AGMSN program for Fall 2014. I have not seen much activity of the boards about this program. If anyone is an alumni/a, presently a student , or even applying could you write your comment below. I am very serious about attending this program if I get in. However, I would be leaving my home in NYC to do so so any comment would be appreciated.
Also if you are in the program or graduated could you just list your stats as well please ( like prereq grades). Thanks
I was just accepted into SLU's AGMSN starting August 25, 2014. Nervous and terrified that I may possibly not be smart enough, but I'm ready to give it my all. I don't even have a specialty that I'm completely interested in yet. I just graduated with a psychology degree from slu, but I really want to also have a nursing degree. I would love if someone could describe how intense the courses really are. I have a weekend job, but they advise people not to work during the program!! It sounds like a good experience though. And slu is a great university.
Hi AccellCNL2b16, I totally understand. I have just completed my housing arrangements in the same manner due to the distance. I wanted to know if you were able to get the questions answered that you sent to me. Also, have you received the packet that they said that they will be sending? Thanks
Hi Danielle19, Unfortunately, I can not comment about the program personally as I will be attending in the Fall too. I think that from the online posts of current and former students, the professors really want us to be successful in the program. Also, I have heard that some people do work part-time and on the weekends because we will have class almost everyday. You already know that SLU is a great university. :)
AccelCNL2b16, I actually live in St. Louis. If you have trouble finding a job through the university, message me and I will recommend a few places. So cool you are already registered for classes. I just emailed someone to find out why I haven't been registered yet. Is anyone on here CPR certified yet?
Hello,
I wish I could help you but from what I recall from last year, you would enter the ID code in the package code section from the main page. This will take you to the main registration page. I hope this works for you.
Have you taken your cpr course? If so, do you know of a good place to take it in St. Louis? If unable to post it here, can you send me a message. I think I am able to reply now. Thanks,
AccelCNL, MSN, RN

Hi arthurfamily,
I have not visited the city yet. But I have rented an apartment sight unseen. I had no choice seeing as I live in NY and the cost if a trip plus lost wages was not something I could do at the time. Sorry it took so king to respond.
