I'll be starting an RN program in the fall and have a ton of shopping I need to get done in a very short amount of time.
Where in the St. Louis area do you recommend shopping for items such as stethoscopes, bandage scissors, lab coats, etc.? I can not believe how expensive this is getting to be and I haven't even paid tuition or bought books!!!
Thanks!

I usually go to Life Uniform store. They are in almost every mall. Or you can go online at lifeuniform.com. There is a Scrubs N More in Chesterfield they have a pretty good selection and IMHO their staff is more friendly. I have also ordered from Jasco. Scopesplus.com has stethoscopes pretty reasonable.
Good luck!

Thanks for the info! I will start shopping on Friday. My daughter ended up at St. John's for a night or two and I told her to pick the nurses' brains....they, too, told her Scrubs N More!!

Definitely buy your stethoscope online because the prices will be sooooo much cheaper. There's also a Scrubs and Beyond store in Kirkwood.
