St Jude Hospital Fullerton, CA New Grad RN Program August 2010

Published

Hello everyone! This is my first posting something on this site. A little something about myself: I just graduated December 2009 and received my RN license on March 2010. I was under a contract with a hospital down in Riverside and have been released since they had no positions open. So now, I'm here, job hunting. :(

I was just wondering, did anyone get a response, interview, got accepted into, or have any information about the New Grad RN program for August 2010 for St Jude Hospital in Fullerton, CA? I applied on April 12th and I did not get a reply from St. Jude's since. Can anyone help please? Thanks you so much! ^_^

Strange indeed...sounds like a thanks but no thanks to me.

I applied early April and haven't heard anything from them. (No email either.) Hoping to hear from them tomorrow or soon! Thanks for the info and I'll post if I hear anything. Good luck to everyone :]

Yeah, I called HR this morning but I did not get too much information because they didn't seem too happy that I was calling about my application. The lady I spoke with just briefly told me that we would hear back from them on May 15. Hope that helps!

Good luck on the job search misstiff!

Hi hsRN1234,

Do you know if they will send us an email or a call? It's weird though that they will notify us on Saturday and HR is closed on that day? Do you think the Nursing recruiter will call us or one of the nursing managers? Sorry, I'm not too familiar with how this application process...

Also, I got some info from my friend and she said that the lady told her something about interviews on June 15 or by June 15? I'm too sure, but I'm guessing is that they will start the interview process? The lady also gave her brief info. When I called them about a week ago, they hung up on me. They must of have a lot on their hands or something...

Anyone hear any news today? I am still trying to understand that strange email. :nurse: Good luck to all!

I didn't hear anything yet. I'm still trying to understand that strange email too. It feels like a thank you but no thank you email, but at the same time it doesn't. It's been bugging me. I checked on my application status last night and was not rejected. So it's safe to assume I'm still a candidate...? Ironically, when I was checking on my status again this morning, the online application site is down for maintenance until 6pm today... Good luck everyone! Try to stay positive as much as possible ^_^

Hi everyone,

When I called St. Jude's HR, they did not give me much information. I got the sense that they did not appreciate the call, but I'm sure they get many phone calls so it must get annoying. She did not say whether it will be a phone call or an e-mail, but she said we will be "notified" on May 15. I'm not sure how that will work out on a Saturday, but we will say. In the mean time, make sure your cell phones have adequate battery life and keep checking your e-mails! As of 1:42pm, I have not gotten a response!! Good luck everyone!

Since May 15 passed, it's time to call them up about the application status and that email tomorrow. I just hope they don't get mad at me... I'll let you guys know what they mean by this email thing for those who got it.

Did anyone who got the same email last Friday got the same email again today? That's weird....

I got the same email today, and I got them on Friday as well. The wired thing is each time they sent me two email with the same content. I do not know what happen. Is this a rejection email?
