Hello everyone! This is my first posting something on this site. A little something about myself: I just graduated December 2009 and received my RN license on March 2010. I was under a contract with a hospital down in Riverside and have been released since they had no positions open. So now, I'm here, job hunting. :(

I was just wondering, did anyone get a response, interview, got accepted into, or have any information about the New Grad RN program for August 2010 for St Jude Hospital in Fullerton, CA? I applied on April 12th and I did not get a reply from St. Jude's since. Can anyone help please? Thanks you so much! ^_^

I believe their website said we would hear something back by May 15th. I know that they kept their new grad application open from April 1 - 30, so they must have a lot of applicants to sort through. I have not heard anything from St. Jude's yet... I am also wondering if others have heard back yet.

good luck with your job hunting! =]

not yet, I am still waiting for response.

I applied as well and am still waiting to hear back!:coollook:

did anyone get an email today?

I called HR earlier and they told me that we will get a response on May 15 (tomorrow). Good luck to everyone!

Hello! This is my first post...

I received an email but it was just a "thank you for your application email." So I guess that means keep trying. I'm not sure but I think if you're selected for interview, you would get a call and not an email.

Good luck!

hi misstiff,

when did you get that e-mail? I thought it was strange when I called HR and they said they would contact us on May 15, since it is a Saturday.

Hi HSRN1234,

Although I applied the first week of April and received confirmation that my resume was submitted, I received that "thank you" email for recruitment today at 4:00pm. I instantly got bummed because I was hoping for a call! Anyway, I thought it was odd that they'd call on a Saturday but I guess that's how they do it?

Hope that helps.

Oh, hsRN1234, you're the one who called HR! Thanks for calling them. Did they specify how they were contacting us? Again, it's just my assumption that a call is appropriate to set up an interview time. Stay hopeful! It may be a good thing that you didn't get a thanks for you interest email!

Yeah, I called HR this morning but I did not get too much information because they didn't seem too happy that I was calling about my application. The lady I spoke with just briefly told me that we would hear back from them on May 15. Hope that helps!

Good luck on the job search misstiff!
