St. Joseph's Providence Hospital?

Published

I have an interview today with St. Joseph's providence hospital in burbank, ca. I have never been to this hospital and was wondering if anyone could tell me how the hospital is and if it was a good environment to work in.

Thanks!

How didyour interview go? Are you a new grad?

I work for Providence Holy Cross (sister hospital) in a non nursing role and Ilove the environment. Everything I have heard it is a very good environment andwould not mind having a job at either facility as a RN.

The interview went really well! The manager and I kicked it off really well. She said I should hear back next week. It was very low key compared to some interviews I have had. Hope to get the job!

What floor???? St Joseph is my dream hospital!

Posting from my phone, ease forgive my fat thumbs! :)

Well I believe it's a general medical surgical unit but I think they have a lot of hospice and palliative care patients which I am very excited for. You should come work with me if I get the job!!!

Hello RuthRogers, would you mind telling me what kind of interview questions that you had during the interview?

I have never been to this hospital as well and would like to find out more about the it too.

Thank you very much!

Hi! I have an interview for their New Grad Program next week, and am wondering about what it will be like as well! All i know is that it will be a panel interview.

I interviewed at Prov. Little Co of Mary a few months back, and that was a panel as well. They asked clinical situation questions...like patient with chest pain, post-surgical patient etc. Also some generals, like "why should we pick you?"

Can't really remember the rest...and not sure if this facility will be similar...but any info would be awesome :-)

When was the application for the new grad program?

When was the application for the new grad program?

The application was open Monday around 11 am till Tuesday night. People who inquired through email prior, received an email stating it was open on a first come first serve basis. A lot people I know missed our on applying.

I have my interview the following week and I am wondering what questions they will be asking.

When I interviewed for Holy Cross in Feb it was all behavioral questions. Tell me a time when.....

I guess it is best to prepare for both types of questions.

Does anyone know how many applications they received? I hear they have 20 spots open :)
