Hi! I was already planning on it! I'll be there for 4:00. My name is Marianne and I'll be looking out for you! I'm really excited about it, I am really hoping to get into St. Joe's and this will be a great opportunity to get some inside info.
edited to add: I was trying to respond to your pm but since I am a newbie I'm not allowed to

St. Joe's grad
Hey Marianne, I'm glad you're going to come! It's a great school! There will be about 6 or so of us students there! I have short dark hair, don't be shy, feel free to come right on up to me :)
It looks like I might not be able to do the open house! My 2 kids were up vomitting last night! My husband is going to stay home so I can get to class but then he has to go to work and the kids can't go to daycare so unless I can get a babysitter I won't be going! I hope you enjoy it :)
awww well I hope your kiddos feel better. I'll let you know how it goes :)
How'd it go?? I'm dying to know what you thought!!
Kids are okay.. We had to have some bloodwork done stat to rule out meningitis, waiting up for a phone call from the doc now!!!
Honestly I was shocked at the number of people there. Each room was literally overflowing with people. I saw the first presentation about financial aid and got to ask a couple of questions but didn't like the answers...I already have a BS in Business and took psych, sociology, and dev psych as part of that degree between 8 and 10 years ago. Basically I would have to retake those courses since they're over 7 years old which really surprised me. I've heard of having science classes having an expiration date but never psych-type classes. I don't think I'm willing to spend all that time and money all over again, especially when every other area school has no problem accepting them. 9 credits is quite a chunk of change as well as a 3 semester long sequence of classes!
I didn't get to check anything else out...the lines were too long!
I won't completely rule it out as of yet but based on the info I got yesterday, I definitely don't think it's my first choice.
Sending lots of good health vibes to your kids! I hope they are 100% healthy...ok well 99% healthy with just a cold :)
