St Johns River State College Nursing Spring 2020

Hi just wanted to make a thread for those of us who have applied for spring 2020 term. Whats everyones GPA? Mines is 3.5 I haven't taken the HESI but I feel like my GPA is not competitive enough. I work with a gal who got in last semester and said that the lowest GPA in her cohort was a 3.2. Im so nervous I feel like I won't get accepted with this. Does anyone know what the lowest GPA accepted last spring was?

Those of you that were accepted...in the email there is a "VECHS APPLICANT WAIVER AGREEMENT AND STATEMENT For Criminal History Record Checks"...Are we supposed to take this somewhere to get someone to sign it?? im slightly confused.

Im not sure. I wish there was a facebook group. Theres very little info on st johns but FSCJ has all kinds of support and information. -_-

I think you get that form filled out when you go in to do your drug test and background check I’m really not too sure I’m a little confused about it too.

I received an email that I am qualified as alternate for spring 2020 enrollment.

I was told the schedule is under the course catalog; however, it only shows one day per class (we technically are only registering for two classes-- NUR1020 and NUR1020L). I called another time to get clarification about this and was told that it does not reflect the actual schedule. She told me to expect M-Th 8am-4pm.

In regards to the VECHS applicant waiver form, I am slightly confused too. I plan to call, again, to ask about it. I did already make my account with Castle Branch... I am hoping come Monday when I have a chance to really look that over, it will all be self explanatory.

I would love a facebook group or WhatsApp group... or both. If one hasn't already been started I wouldn't mind starting one for the Palatka students. I assume we would want the two campus classes separate? but maybe not?

I just found a group on FB titled, "SJR state ASN Nursing 2021". I mean technically we'll graduate in 2021 so maybe that's us? ?‍♀️ It was created in July... has 34 members and says 3 were added in the past few days. I just sent a request. I'll let ya guys know what I find out...

I think I may just create one. One thing I hate about St. John’s is that there aren’t any resources.? fscj has so many.
