Hi just wanted to make a thread for those of us who have applied for spring 2020 term. Whats everyones GPA? Mines is 3.5 I haven't taken the HESI but I feel like my GPA is not competitive enough. I work with a gal who got in last semester and said that the lowest GPA in her cohort was a 3.2. Im so nervous I feel like I won't get accepted with this. Does anyone know what the lowest GPA accepted last spring was?

I applied with both my hesi scores and GPA...my GPA isnt the greatest...3.3 and my hesi scores werent all above 90s. On my hesi got two b's and two a's but the advisor told me to apply with both to better my chances. I also applied to FSCJ which is really the school i want to get in, so if i dont get in at St johns then thats okay. Ive heard that applying with GPA is very competitive... people were applying with 3.8+

I applied with a 3.8 but no HESI. I know my GPA is high BUT I’m still nervous as my AnP’s are 6 years old and will be considered 7 years old when the program actually starts. I’m worried that may affect my acceptance ? I didn’t know you could apply with both though! I thought you had to choose one or the other. Oh well, it’s submitted and now the waiting has begun ? Good luck! I’m grateful you made this thread! I started one and found this one after the fact.
If accepted, do you guys have any idea what the schedule is like? I’m curious as I consider the logistics of it with my kids’.

Unfortunately i have no idea what the schedule is like. I know fscj, depending on if you choose days or nights, its almost 4 days a week. testing on mondays and clinicals/lab/ lecture on tuesday, thursdays and fridays. Idk how different the schedule is between the schools.
I spoke with the nursing department today and they told me the schedule will be available on the 27th under the course catalog. ?

My fiancé and I applied for the nursing program for spring 2020 too! We both have a 3.8 gpa and I’m super nervous we aren’t going to get in! Does anyone know when the acceptance letter will be sent out?
The nursing department told me they try to let everyone know by October 15th. I’m curious how many applicants they get for spring, especially given Orange Park is only available and not Palatka too. Seems like that would make it even more competitive ?? I’m nervous!

I submitted my application with a 3.5 gpa and for my hesi a 96 in Math, 90 on Reading and a 94.67 on my English composite. I applied to fscj and St. John’s so I’m really hoping my scores are competitive enough. Also I live in Nassau county so that limits my chance of getting accepted there as well. But I’m hoping for the best??

Applied with both 3.7 GPA and decent HESI scores, but I am in Duval and not the "first pick" counties so..... I am nervous too! Good luck to us all! Both FSCJ and St John's are 21 minutes from me, so I guess I have nothing to lose if either one wants me. *Fingers crossed*
Omg! I just found out over the phone while speaking to the nursing dept director, Lori, that this will be the first year they are accepting spring enrollment for Palatka campus too! Which is great news for us because that means they will be taking more applicants overall from this current application period. Not to mention, I'm stoked because I live much closer to that campus versus the Orange Park one. She said they are going to choose what campus you get accepted to based off your address. Now just fingers crossed we do get accepted! Based off the timing of past years, I think we'll find out this week. I noticed by reading older forums on here that last year applicants were notified on Oct. 2nd.

That's awesome and so exciting to hear! I'm praying hard we get in! I live literally right down the street from the orange park campus so fingers crossed!
Thank you for posting that!! I’ve been so nervous about getting accepted this semester! I hope we all get accepted! Good luck!!❤️❤️
