St Johns River State College Nursing Spring 2020

Hi just wanted to make a thread for those of us who have applied for spring 2020 term. Whats everyones GPA? Mines is 3.5 I haven't taken the HESI but I feel like my GPA is not competitive enough. I work with a gal who got in last semester and said that the lowest GPA in her cohort was a 3.2. Im so nervous I feel like I won't get accepted with this. Does anyone know what the lowest GPA accepted last spring was?

I got in with a 3.8 without taking the HESI! You should be fine! You do take a HESI each semester but it is nothing like the one to get you in the program. It’s based off of what you are learning that semester. Good luck!

They are taking about the HESI A2 entrance exam. It’s different then the HESI we take in school

You don’t HAVE to take it after that. You can apply again with just your GPA (although I’m sure you will be fine with a 3.8). It really just depends on your competition.
