St Johns River State College Nursing Spring 2020

Published

Hi just wanted to make a thread for those of us who have applied for spring 2020 term. Whats everyones GPA? Mines is 3.5 I haven't taken the HESI but I feel like my GPA is not competitive enough. I work with a gal who got in last semester and said that the lowest GPA in her cohort was a 3.2. Im so nervous I feel like I won't get accepted with this. Does anyone know what the lowest GPA accepted last spring was?

Does anyone know when they will start sending out acceptance letters?

@FutureNurse1104 No, but I'm anxiously waiting. Someone said previously it could be today.

@FutureNurse1104 I’m not sure, a couple people mid October and other’s have said the beginning! I hope it’s soon though because the suspense is killing me?

I’ve been refreshing my email all day ??

SAME??‍♀️??‍♀️ I just wanna know already ? haha I hope everyone on this thread gets accepted!

Hey girls,

I was just wondering if y'all heard anything back. I still did not receive any emails from the nursing program just yet. So I was just wondering, what is considered more competitive, GPA or Hesi A2? Are they weighted the same? I have about a 3.89 GPA without any Hesi scores. How do I stand in this admissions process? I would really like to know! I hope that everyone in this thread gets accepted!

Nothing about acceptance, but I did get a response email from admissions asking to send in my residency afadavit so they can put it on my file. I’m really praying I get in!

I just got the email saying I’m accepted to Palatka’s campus!!! I hope you guys get the same email soon!!

I got accepted too! Honestly I truly didn’t think I was gonna get it. I just applied for shi** and giggles.

Congrats all that were accepted!!!! Just got a denial. My stats were (for future years lol) a 3.7 GPA, all 90+ HESI scores, but I’m Duval. Not sure if that was a deciding factor. Guess I’m waiting for my first choice, FSCJ.

It probably was because you live in duval. My stats weren’t that great I didn’t think. But I live in clay. Fscj is my first option too so I’m waiting on that before I make my decision. No doubt in my mind that you will get accepted into fscj.
