Hey ya'll!
I am an applicant who applied to UT Health Science center for the Fall of 2017. I found the allnurses forum so useful for all of the students that were currently going through the same process was.
I wanted to start another forum for the next year for all the applicants so they were able to share ideas, stats, background etc.
So i'll start:
HESI A2:
A&P 80
Math 98
Grammar 94
Reading 92
Vocab 96
I have a previous degree from Texas State University in Psychology (Bachelors).
Science GPA: 3.812
Nursing Pre-req: 3.512
Cumulative (155hrs): 3.2
I hope this helps and you get as much out of this as I did. I met some really awesome people on here who are all on the journey to becoming great nurses. Don't hesitate to say hi!
Hello, I was suppose to take my test August 29th but they cancelled it due to the flood and unfortunately, my Prometric test center was closed all the way to August 31st. I am upset because I sent in my application and everything to UTHealth and I only needed to take my HESI Exam. I saw on the site that Pacesetter is changed to September 15th? On the side of the website, it says September 15th when you click application deadlines. I am not sure though :/

They sent out an email today about hurricane harvey, and that if you take the HESI between september 1st-15th it will still count. Pacesetter deadline is changed to September 15th as well! Hope this helps :)
Hi just joining this thread, I submitted my application a while ago and had everything sent. If my to-do list says "No current to do item information found" does that mean everything was received?
Yes. Mines says the same thing. You can also check your admission status under student admissions and you'll see your green dot that says complete.
Totally unrelated question, but how old are you guys? My mom seems to think I'll be the oldest one In my class at 22. (eye roll. People change majors/ go back to school all the time)
I think your mom will be surprised on the average age. There's a lot of people that turn to nursing as a second career, which fits my description at the 37 years.

I am 28. Ill be 29 in two months. LOL. Like Brandon_Hare said. A lot of people pursue nursing later on if its something they have developed a passion for or because they are unsatisfied with their current career paths. People who have applied to UT Health the last two semesters vary pretty drastically in age. You would probably fall on the younger end of that spectrum.

I would imagine that is what that means. Mine is still showing incomplete and I submitted my application for Spring 2018 literally the day people started receiving their acceptances for Fall 2017. I've called multiple times and they have told me that they have everything so I have to trust that they do. LOL.

Did you take it under the UTHealth code? If so they automatically receive them. If not you need to request a transcript from Elsevier be sent to IT.
