Hello all!
I am a pre-nursing student at Tarrant County College hoping to get into the Spring 2018 ADN program. I have found allnurses to be extremely helpful in regards to information about student stats and program requirements.
My current stats are:
API: B
APII: A
Microbiology: In Progress
HESI A2: Scheduled next month
I'm currently studying Evolve's HESI preparation book. I wanted to create this discussion for questions, answers, and encouragement for Tarrant County College Spring 2018 hopefuls. I know it's a little early but hey, I'm excited. :)
Good morning everyone,
I'm so glad I came across this. I was wondering if any of you all know if there is a drop box at TCCD to drop off the ADN application packet? I unfortunately work M-F 8-5 & I haven't been able to turn my application in.
Also one last question, I see that there is a "for office use only" form at the end of the ADN application but it also has a spot for a student signature. Do we fill out the form and sign it at the bottom or are we suppose to leave the form all blank including the student signature at the bottom?
Thank you everyone in advance for your help!
Kate
Hi kjgallegos!
I am not sure if there is a drop box or not. Another woman and I went to turn in our packets during their working hours posted on Friday at 11AM and nobody was there. We just slid our information under the door.
I had tried calling the office to talk to someone earlier that week, and I never got through to anyone on the phone.
Good luck everyone!! I am applying, but not all that hopeful. It has been years since I have taken these classes and when I retook A&P1 last spring I had a terrible teacher! Only 12 people finished her class that semester and I thought I was doing the right thing by toughing it out. Only to get a C in the end. A&P 2 I got a B and Micro I received an A. I made an 86.4 on the HESI.
I figured I would apply, but if I don't get in this spring I will retake A&P1 in the spring and will reapply next fall.
Best of luck to everyone though!!!!
Vanessa

Hi Vanessa,
When you filled out the application did you also fill out the part where it says "for office use only" ? or did you just sign it at the bottom?
Thank you,
Kate
Hi everyone!! I know I'm late to the party but I just wanted to say hi! I'm probably the only one who hasn't turned in their app yet...lol! I will be turning mine in tomorrow. My stats are...
AP1: B
AP2: A
Micro: A
Hesi: 90.5
I wish everyone good luck and hope we can all meet Spring 2018 (fingers crossed)
So i was double checking that I had all of my documents before I turn in the application and I see part of the immunization requirements to apply is the influenza(only valid after 7/31 for spring 2018). Did anyone who turned in their app after 7/31 get their flu shot already? Or can we wait since it's also part of the "after you get accepted" requirements?
