Spring 2018 TCC Nursing Students

Published

Hello all!

I am a pre-nursing student at Tarrant County College hoping to get into the Spring 2018 ADN program. I have found allnurses to be extremely helpful in regards to information about student stats and program requirements.

My current stats are:

API: B

APII: A

Microbiology: In Progress

HESI A2: Scheduled next month

I'm currently studying Evolve's HESI preparation book. I wanted to create this discussion for questions, answers, and encouragement for Tarrant County College Spring 2018 hopefuls. I know it's a little early but hey, I'm excited. :)

Yeah someone should make one!

I am an alternate also

I got accepted! Congrats everyone!! So excited!

I'm not sure either.

How do we fill out the acceptance form?

Congrats to all of you! So, now that admitted you will have tons of questions. There are many mentors and leaders to help guide you. One or a few of you whom tend to be natural leaders or want to be I suggest make a FB Group page. Name it however you wish reflecting the TCC Spring 2018 semester.. I made ours private so that not everyone and their mom can see our posts and be on our group. Also, you can join the other nursing groups of the upper classman. We are in our semester of course, but any questions you have we will gladly help you as much as possible. Again, congratulations, welcome to the TCC nursing family. The Spring TCC 2017 FB page is called: TCC Nursing Spring 2017. Those admitted are more than welcome to request add.

That would be awesome to make a Facebook group! That way, there are some familiar faces in some of our classes!

I can make a Facebook group tonight after I get my daughter to bed if no one else has.

Hi everyone! I created a facebook group TCC Nursing Spring 2018. Let me know if you have any problems joining!

I think I joined it? Courtney Cooper is my name. :)

You guys - HUGE congratulations to all of you! Whether you were accepted or are an alternate, you've dedicated a LOT of hard work and time to getting this far :). Reach out to the upperclassmen (you'll find our FB pages!) for questions, concerns and encouragement. Like I said earlier, your group is exactly where I was one year ago, so that'll make it a *tiny* bit easier to guesstimate when things will happen for your group ;). For now - get organized, get a routine, get your lives in order (ha - right?!) because things will get VERY busy in January; you'll really need a solid infrastructure in your lives at home to keep on top of school. See you on FB! ~vee
