Hi everyone I made it in (since I already passed the background check, drug test, and turned all my paperwork in). I received an e-mail today that said "Hi 1st year nursing student!" It felt great, I loved it! Anyways, they said to get our books online as ebooks or a subscription program and that we could purchase the physical book separately for our reference only, because our assignments are going to come from the website. What did y'all do? Because I always like to have the physical book better. What is y'alls opinion on this matter please let me know, thanks guys!!

Congratulations! I am also starting my program in Spring 2015. I bought all physical copies of my books. I don't know about you, but I can not read e-book versions of textbooks as I like to physically highlight, take notes in the margins and bookmark. I know you can do most of this in an e-book, but I guess I am just old school.
One nice thing about the e-book option though is portability. Having about 200lbs of books on a tablet is certainly advantageous.
I purchased all of my books used from a previous years nursing student. That's the other thing about e-books, you can't really sell them back afterwords, or sell them to someone else. (I personally will certainly keep my textbooks but just like to have the option!)
