Anatomy vs Chemistry OR Anatomy & Physiology?
Thanks for your comments, i just registered for Anatomy, Chemistry and Stats.. and just like you guys mentioned Chemistry & Anatomy is a pre req for physiology. A lot of the pre nursing students here are recommending to take Anatomy and Physiology separately (that's if i want to get high grades for both classes. My college also offers those two classes separately. I'm just going back and forth if i should do Chemistry and Anatomy or Anatomy and Physiology... i just added those two classes along with stats before the classes get full.. i know i still have till mid jan early feb to drop them with full refund and without a "w" just in case one or the other doesn't work out i did speak to my counselor and he strongly recommends doing chem and stats first :/ and anatomy and physio.. he did mention that it would be best to talk to one of the nursing councelor and see what she recommends ... i just want to finish my pre reqs asap.. i only have chem, anatomy, physio and micro.. so i can apply to the nursing program

patho, microbio, and stats in the fall?
Personally for me that would be too much? Maybe because I have a toddler around .. but it can be manageable if you give it 100 focus and work .. it does sound intense .. i would probably take Microbiology with an easier class just because I want to pull out an A in micro ..

pre-reqs
My calculations is 2 years but since I got a NP in Math and my very first D in another class it might be 2.5 yrs *sigh* - Summer 15 it'll be 1 year

Avg GPA/wait time for ADN Programs - California?
I was reading the other day that Santa Barbara City College isn't accepting any more applications until 2016 if I'm not mistaken and their waiting list is 5 years .. It's best to do some research and apply to as many adn programs at colleges near you ..

Failed two sciences and I can't get into a nursing program.....is there still any hope?
I LOVE THIS !!! Thank you for writing this and CONGRATULATIONS! !! I just failed Chemistry and like your screen name it gives me "Esperanza" to keep pushing myself .. it's my very first class that I failed and i feel horrible after seeing the " D " next to chemistry my past classes have been "A's" and for some reason I failed Chemistry. . In a way I'm happy I received the D instead of the C because if I would of received a C I would have to wait 2 yrs to retake and with a D I can actually retake for a better grade .. i know some schools don't like repeats but the nursing program I want to get in doesn't accept no repeats on Anatomy Physiology and Micro ... And to the OP Esperanza just said it don't give up and if you really want to be a nurse push yourself don't let anyone bring you down!! Keep pushing.. Good luck !!!

Skechers vs Addidas
Both feel good í ½í¸œ but the skechers has its "pluses" with the memory foam and slip resistant .. while addidas doesn't .. I'm leaning more towards the addidas because od the "looks" and i wanna keep the skechers bcuz I feel the memory foam will be comfy .. I'm not sure if addidas will be like converse when you wear them for long hours walking your feet starts to hurt :-/

intermediate algebra and chem?
I'm taking both and oh boy I'm I struggling .. i currently have a C in chemistry which is horrible :-/... and i had to change my math for a pass or no pass so it wouldn't jeopardize my gpa any worst as its gonna do this C in chemistry .. I'm also taking english I volunteer and i got accepted as an internship in a hospital plus I work part time and I have a toddler .. so if you're a person like me then maybe it's best to separate those clases .. they are doable if you are strong on both courses .. good luck!! I'm gonna hate myself for my Chem grade ugh
