  1. Hi! I'll be crossing my fingers for all of us! No plan B for me...I've looked into other things jic, but nothing else interests me/seems like a good fit for me/like it would make me happy ??‍♀️.
  2. Yes, this is my first time applying. I'm so nervous, but excited. I was a CNA/PCT for 8 yrs in a hospital and have been an LVN about 4 yrs now, so I'm ready to move on to the next step in my career!
  3. Nice to meet you Karen! I have friends currently in the program and they found out around the last week in August if they were accepted or denied. I'm hoping more people see this post. My hope is to compile a list that helps people match up with people for accomodation sharing ? I hope we both get in! Feel free to PM me if you want.
  4. Hi All! I recently applied to HCC's LVN/Paramedic RN Bridge. Did anyone else apply? If so, please introduce yourself. Let's get to know each other and make connections! I'll start: I'm currently an LVN. I reside in the Los Angeles area. I'm married, with 3 kiddos. I love to dance, I'm a foodie and I love to travel. I also love amusement parks. I am a movie fanatic; I have over 1,500 DVD's! I LOVE all things Disney and Marvel! I'm interested in connecting with other applicants, so we can be travel buddies, study together and maybe room/share air bnbs and car rental costs to help save/cut costs while attending Hutchinson.
  5. Hi! I took patho online through Hutchinson. It was not bad. It wasn't hard per se, but there were a lot of group discussions, assignments and a couple of papers. It definitely kept me busy. I would say no more than 2 courses at a time, so you can be sure to get a good grade. What other prereqs do you need to take? You can private message me if you want ?
  6. Did you get in? If you did can I pick your brain about the program? I plan on applying this year for the Jan 2026 cohort TIA
  7. Hi did you get in @Wandrae King? I plan on applying for Jan 2026 cohort start.
  8. Hi anyone that applied and got in to AVC's LVN-RN starting Summer 2024. I have the AVC nursing program uniform for sale: 2 large scrub tops, 3 pair medium scrub pants and 1 medium jacket. I will sell you all of it for $100. Must come to Santa Clarita/Valencia for pick up. DM me if interested.
  9. Congrats ladies!! @Kassyx @Alexandra Felix
  10. @Kassyx @futurenurse0618 Sorry we confused you ladies...those of us posting that we got in, applied to the LVN-RN at AVC, which starts in the Summer with just LVN's, then we join generic RN cohort (3rd semester/2nd yr) in the Fall. That's why we got our acceptances in April because we start in June. The generic RN starts in mid Aug, so their acceptance letters will go out in June.
