Spring 2019 Nassau Community College

Published

Hi! Anyone else looking to apply to NCC for the Spring 2019 Nursing Program? I'm so curious and anxious to know if I have enough 'points' to make the cut. How are you guys feeling? How are your points/stats adding up?

@TerryL428 I finally

Made it out to my car lol

So when i spoke to the Nursing Department regarding the TEAS. Here's what I was told

58-77.3 = 5 points

78-90 = 10 points

90-100 = 15 points

I was told this 3 times by 2 different people so I hope it's correct praying that it is

Okay. So I think my points are correct.

I've been holding off on a new job waiting for this, so I really hope we find out sooner than later.

Did anyone get anything in their email ? Or any change in there registration status ?

No, nothing. I've been checking like a frantic lunatic all day :(

OMG me too. Smh

No, nothing. I've been checking like a frantic lunatic all day :(

What are your scores if you don't mind ?

I'm sitting here going over my grades and scores just to make sure I didn't miss anything ,

i hope those TEAS scores are correct!

I just checked mine. Still says Liberal Arts. I'm 9 credits short for an associates so I'm just going to register for those classes in case I don't get in.

My score is 141 if I did the math correctly. Does anyone know how transfer credits are put towards this process? Are they calculated the same as NCC credits? Thx!

Yes I think so , I have 2 transfer classes one B+ and the other B

Yes I think you should do that , I finished all the classes for the Associates degree and applied for graduation , I submitted my application still to the nursing Department and they said they'll do the necessary paperwork for the "2nd degree "

I hope I get in. I already accepted a part time position at my job so it's going to suck if I don't get in lol but I'll be able to go to school full time and finish my associates at least.
