Spring 2019 Nassau Community College

Hi! Anyone else looking to apply to NCC for the Spring 2019 Nursing Program? I'm so curious and anxious to know if I have enough 'points' to make the cut. How are you guys feeling? How are your points/stats adding up?

Teas

Reading 89.4

Math 93.8

Teas

Then I think your scores are : reading =10

Math = 15 , eng = 5

Total of 30 points for Teas --

I'm not sure what the cut off is but this is the minimum amount of points I think you have .. not bad though

Great thank you. So I called the nursing department and they sort of confirmed this point system. Idk what kinda of points you get for the teas but your quality point I believe are the points they're referring too

Ahhh ok so how did they tell you to calculate your points ?

They basically said to take the credits of the course times the points of your letter grade. I think it was stated previously in the thread. She also said you get points for your individual teas scores but she didn't say how much you get. It a was a little frustrating becaue she said she was too busy to answer any questions

Any word on when the acceptance/rejection emails will go out? I am hoping on or before the 15th as that's when registration opens...

I've heard conflicting information. The women I spoke to said they would be arrive 1-2 weeks from now. She also said to apply for classes as if you didn't get into the nursing program. So that may be a indicator that they may come after spring registration

Any changes on anyone's records?

Can anyone tell me how to figure out my points? I'm utopia as to where I stand.

No changes yet. I'm expecting/hoping we hear something this Friday
