My journey started from cna, lpn now,I applied for spring 2018 nursing bridge program. I am looking forward to what it has to offer and the challenges ahead. Anything is possible if you work hard and be persistence in reaching every goal you set for yourself. Always keep a positive mind.
Do you guys also plan on getting your BSN after?
Many of the major hospitals in South Florida are requiring nurses to obtain the BSN within a certain period of time after employment. Below is an article that suggests that the BSN may become the standard for RNs.

I also read a nursing survey that states that 70% of the hospitals in the state of Florida hire new BSN grads. So, for job security purposes it's a good idea to obtain a BSN in the immediate future. Not saying we can't get a job with the ASN, but the BSN makes us stronger applicants.

thanks for the suggestion :)
maybe it would be a good idea to get the ASN first, get hired and get the BSN while working?
Wonder if that would work out....
I work at Baptist and many RN's do not have BSNs but who knows what the future holds...
