I've decided to make this page for anyone applying for the Spring 2019 ADN program at Lone Star CF/K. I'm so nervous and it's still kinda far away! Good luck!
If you haven't already seen the application online, the score sheet is calculated for you, letter grade, gpa, and hesi scores. And I went to the info sessions and talk to a nursing admin from tomball lsc. Not sure who "they" are you called and talked to but I just didn't want to give her misleading answers like lone star taking the "lowest grade".
Yes I've seen the score sheet! And the "They" I talked to was from Kingwood. And when lowest grade was mentioned, I was talking about lowest grade out of the lecture and lab, not lowest grade from ap1 or ap2. I know they take the highest grade from the two. That's why I stated that, that wasn't what she was asking.

I'm taking A&P 1 in Summer 2 also!! Who's your professor?? Good luck! :)
Hello everyone, I am also applying for the Spring 2019 admission. I am scheduled to take HESI on August 23rd, and I will be taking A&P I for summer II, 6weeks session. I took the Eng1301 online during Mini-mester and made an A. So, I only have to worry about the HESI and A&P I. Does anyone have any success/study tips for getting an A in A&P I and scoring high in HESI? Please I'd appreciate your suggestions. Good luck to us all.

Hey I'm interested in knowing who you took for your engl 1301 mini mester class? Was it extremely challenging, or was it pretty manageable? I'm also taking the Hesi again & a/p1 during summer 2, good luck!!
Hey everyone, I'm also planning to apply for the Spring 2019 ADN Program. I have obtained my bachelors degree in Biology last year.
I've been working as a PCA in a hospital for almost 3 years, I'm choosing to go the adn route to eventually excel to TWU's RN-MS bridge program in hopes to become a Nurse Practitioner.
I've completed pre reqs but will be retaking a A/p 1 hybrid course during summer 2, I will also be taking the HESI in August. Good luck to everyone!
My professor for the Mini-mester is Stacy Oberle. She is an awesome professor and very organized. The class wasn't really challenging, but because of its length, we were required to write essay every week. We also had to do discussion posts everyday with other writing assignments for each day. The class was 3weeks, so it was a lot of writing, but it is definitely achievable and worthwhile.
