Spring 2019 Lone Star Hopefuls

Published

I've decided to make this page for anyone applying for the Spring 2019 ADN program at Lone Star CF/K. I'm so nervous and it's still kinda far away! Good luck!

Congratulations on scoring higher the second time.

Hello everyone, I am also applying for the Spring 2019 admission. I am scheduled to take HESI on August 23rd, and I will be taking A&P I for summer II, 6weeks session. I took the Eng1301 online during Mini-mester and made an A. So, I only have to worry about the HESI and A&P I. Does anyone have any success/study tips for getting an A in A&P I and scoring high in HESI? Please I'd appreciate your suggestions. Good luck to us all.

Hello guys! I have an important question if anyone that can answer knows the answer,

I have an A in Anatomy II Lecture which is credit is 3.00, and a B in Anatomy Lab which the credit is 1.00. So do I have an A or B in Anatomy II.

FYI: I don't know my grade so I can't average it, they only gave me a letter grade!

I think they go by the grade from lecture, but I've heard some people say they take the lowest grade which is crazy.

Lone star takes your highest AP grade and your AP II gpa is a 3.75 not including your english, which is all they use. Also I used a gpa calculator

^^^ I think 3.75 = B+

That wasn't her question.... she received 2 different grades. One for lecture and one for lab. She's trying to figure out which one they are going to use so she can average it.

Lol thank you! And a 3.75 is an A.

@Cutie_pie87 I understand that much but she has to have both lec and lab so I combine it to get a gpa thus regenerating a new letter grade for the classes combined. So yeah it is a 3.75 and like she said thats an A so no worries here.

Who said to combine the grade for lecture and lab to get a new grade???? First time hearing that. But I called and they said they take the grade from lecture since it's worth more credits.
