Spring 2018 Grossmont

Published

Hey everyone! I wanted to make a discussion for those who are applying to the spring 2018 grossmont nursing program. How many points does everyone think they have?

I applied and i have 74 points, I've read other threads and saw people get in with that score. I scored an 82% on the TEAs but my science GPA was low :(. Good luck to everyone! I applied to Palomar and MiraCosta and am praying to get into one of them!

That's not a bad score at all! I'm sure you'll get in to one of them! There's a page for miracosta and Palomar as well

I just see how high everyone's score is and makes me nervous

I applied to all 3 programs as well! The main difference in the ADN programs is that Miracosta accepts only 20 students and if you're offered an alternate position but no one drops out you're guaranteed a spot in the next cohort.

I also heard Grossmont does their clinicals at Sharp, Palomar at Kaiser and IDK where MiraCosta does theirs!

I hope I get into Grossmont because I live in Eastlake and don't wanna make that commute but anywhere is better than nowhere!!

Anyone heard anything?! This marks 6 weeks after the deadline so any day now! The wait is EXCRUCIATING!

I have been checking my email alerts in anticipation all day long. Nothing still but we are all really close

Hello, I applied for Grossmont for Spring as well. I thought I had heard we wouldn't know anything until end of September, early October?

They told me 6-8 weeks since it's for the spring semester which usually has less applicants :( well... That sucks. I guess we'll know when we know. Someone please post when they get something!!

I turned in my application the second to last day and there were 105 applicants on the sign in sheet... I wonder if that's a lot compared to other cohorts.

Based on the old threads, we might hear something towards the end of September or early October. (I hope:saint:)

Yikes ... they only take 40 a cohort .... I turned mine in the last day and there was 6 people wit me turning in there applications ....

I turned mine in on the last day and I was the first on a new page so maybe 20-30 more people. thats a lot less than other cohorts almost 300 for fall
