Spring 2018 Grossmont

Published

Hey everyone! I wanted to make a discussion for those who are applying to the spring 2018 grossmont nursing program. How many points does everyone think they have?

I also assume that most of that 130ish applied to at least 2+ schools. Palomar also takes 40 and MC takes 20 so that's 100 right there!

When do the other schools send out acceptances? I only applied to grossmont but planning on applying to city next month if I don't get in.

Those two above said by the end of october

MiraCosta is the first week of Oct. and Palomar and end of Oct. and Grossmont within the next 2-3 weeks hopefully!

Hello, I applied for Grossmont for Spring as well. I thought I had heard we wouldn't know anything until end of September, early October?

We are going off past Cohorts and this is the time that they received their emails!

They change the dates on application deadlines every cohort. I wouldn't expect a letter until beginning of October; two weeks into October the lastest....

Mira Costa already sent out their acceptances but will be reaching out to the alternates on the waitlist as people accept or deny. We do hear from Grossmont and he through email as well, correct? I'm dying here. The anxiety nightmares have started about not getting in :( I assume that noone has heard anything?

Email from Grossmont:

Dear Applicants,

This is to inform you that the nursing invite notifications will begin to go out. It is a process that can take up to several weeks to fill the class, so we ask for your patience and please do not call the office for an application status. Everyone will hear something one way or another.

Thank you,

I know, I thought that was THE ONE, I got so excited/nervous for a second there

Yes such torture! Lol and now a feeling of impending doom at any minute

I got accepted :) good luck ladies !

I got in with 83-84 points i think. good luck everyone!
