Spring 2021 GGC nursing

Hey! I’m just wondering if anyone else on this site is applying for the nursing program at Georgia Gwinnett College for Spring 2021? I’m so nervous, haha.

I’m currently in A&P 2 and Micro but my current stats are:


Overall GPA: 3.84

Science GPA: 3.6 (pretty confident I’m going to get an A in my two remaining classes)

TEAS: taking on August 3rd

I’m going to updates everything once I take my TEAS ?

I got my acceptance letter in my email around 5:30 today.

It was through my ggc email.

TEAS: 86

GPA:3.8

Do you guys know if the acceptance is sent all on one day or in waves over a few days?

Seems like in waves. I heard they replace the next candidate with whoever denies their acceptance to GGC. Hopefully we hear something today before the weekend ??

I got my rejection email. At the time I applied, I only had an 80.7 TEAS score. Retook it after I submitted the application and got an 86.7. I wonder what difference that would have made LOL

I got my denial letter. So disappointed. Wondering if they have waitlists.

I received mine as well. Please don’t let this discourage you’ll. I know this is very disappointing news but take this from someone who retook them TEAS 3 times and applied to GGC twice. The program is competitive and just because you may not have made it in doesn’t mean you wouldn’t make a good nurse or that you don’t have the “smarts” to be accepted. It’s just a really small program which makes it 10 x more competitive. Please be encouraged, and apply to other schools. We all will make great nurses some day ❤️
