Spring 2021 GGC nursing

Hey! I’m just wondering if anyone else on this site is applying for the nursing program at Georgia Gwinnett College for Spring 2021? I’m so nervous, haha.

I’m currently in A&P 2 and Micro but my current stats are:

Overall GPA: 3.84

Science GPA: 3.6 (pretty confident I’m going to get an A in my two remaining classes)

TEAS: taking on August 3rd

I’m going to updates everything once I take my TEAS ?

OMG, I got my acceptance for the GGC nursing program for Spring 2021 recently as well after being wait-listed!!!  Congratulations and so happy to hear this! see you in January! ?

Let me know how you’ll do in Spring 21.. far as working while in school, clinicals , etc. unfortunately I transferred so I have to take a few more pre reqs.. before I apply. Soo I’ll be there Spring 22 ?, Congratulations to all accepted applicants . I’m proud. What were you guys stats.

Did you all get the same TEAS test if you retake it? Or you all had different versions? Thank you!

@Heley01 I took the exam twice in a year and they're completely different questions. I thought my first attempt was harder for some reason. It asked a lot of Chemistry while my second attempt asked 0. Just study for everything! Mometrix book will adequately prepare you. :)

@amoore21 I had a 3.0 science GPA, 3.4 overall, and 89 on the TEAS. I also did volunteer hours at a peds clinic. Goodluck with everything you can do it!

@amoore21 I only took the TEAS once and scored an 82. My science GPA is a 4.0. I’m a returning student and took all my science classes right before applying. My overall is a 3.3. I had over 200 volunteer hours from a hospital. I did some damage to my GPA before dropping out years ago when I was younger so my overall GPA is not the best, But it got me in ??. @koung Thank you for answering my questions. Do we have to have wait 30 days before we can take it again or we can retake as soon as after first attempt?

If you took the test twice, does GGC take the highest score or the score from the 2nd attempt even if it’s lower than the 1st attempt?

Hi All!
I now this thread is very old, but I was wondering what people's experiences are at GGC. I got my acceptance into the 2023 Spring program and am wondering what you all might think. I am currently awaiting acceptance/rejection from GSU downtown, but if I'm accepted, I wanted to weigh the options.
