Spring 2018 Forsyth Tech ADN Program

Just wanted to post a topic for all of those applying this fall for the Spring 2018 nursing program at Forsyth Tech. There have been plenty of times I've had questions about what to do and I thought we could support each other. I'll start, how do nursing classes work? do you take one per semester or a few?

You should be fine! I wouldnt stress about retaking it. One of my friends told me the nursing adviser told him that 150 points is a solid amount to get in the program. Plus this is like the highest that the range of points has been in a while. I take My TEAS this Friday the 15th and I have 87 points so far.

Pfrank have you taken your TEAS already?

I decided not to take it again, I think my points will be okay. Does anyone know someone who got in last semester? I really want to know what the schedules are like for first semester so I can plan. Do we get any choice in when our classes/clinicals are?

I've been trying my best to get this information. I even joined the forsyth tech adn class of 2019 page on Facebook but I just noticed they took me out of it. I was hoping to get that info from them. If anyone finds it, please post it here.

Well that stinks. Maybe we should make our own Facebook group? I know one person that started the program this semester. I'll try to get some info from him or I'll email someone at the school. I'll let you know what I find out!

Yea i did take my teas already, my total points is 154.7.

Took my TEAS today and now have 153.2 points for the nursing program! Good luck to everyone!

I'm applying for Spring 2018 as well! I've done my MAR review and took the TEAS last week. I have 157 points and was told that I am "comfortably within the range of students accepted" so fingers crossed!! Does anyone know when we usually find out? I'm hoping early October because the suspense is killing me. Good luck everyone!! :)

If you check techlink it should change around the first week of October. Letters go out sometime after that :)
