I know that it's VERY early right now to start gearing up for the Spring 2016 admission but I thought I'd start this post early seeing as I have already started taking my final classes, preparing to take the Hesi A2 test and submitting all my other documents for the program. If all goes well, I will be between 30 and 34 points. How many points do you think you'll be at when it's time to apply for the 2016 spring entry? What's the lowest score that they have accepted for previous entries? Are there any single mothers, such as I, who will be applying for the nursing program? Hope to hear more from others who are getting ready to join. Would love to get lots of feedback!!!!!

Asmyth12 Keep your options open! I would try and apply to both programs just to ensure my chances.

Hey guys I'm curious where yall are at in regard to math course credits? I have not taken college algebra yet And I know it's not a prereq anymore but it says you must still be TSI compliant to APPLY to the nursing program and I don't think I am because I haven't taken college algebra I've been taking development courses and it took my accuplacer back in like 2007 so I'm wondering if maybe I should retake my placement testing to see if I get a better placement now???

@Asmyth12 Retake the TSI testing and find out where you place. As long as you meet the developmental courses for Math then you will be TSI compliant without taking College Algebra. I'm taking College Algebra now. I retook the Accuplacer and didn't score high enough to get into col. alg. but when they changed up the testing to TSI I became math ready. Not exactly sure why but it says now that I'm compliant. So if you would like to retake it, I'd say go ahead and study study study!!! Good luck :)

Hey guys... After taking my HESI I will be applying with 28 points. I know the previous cutoff was 27 but I'm really anxious to see what the cutoff is for the Fall 2015 applicants. I'll probably take the HESI again to try and scrounge up some more points though! 28 seems like it might be pushing it a little...

Hopefully it will still be 27 but you never know. I'm preparing to take my HESI in April (or May if I don't like my scores in April). I hope that you get in and I see you soon!!! Keep us updated on here as I know more and more people will be responding on this forum as the deadline nears.

You can go to [email protected] but hurry! They are filling up fast. I applied for the May 16th date. I know North Lake offers it but they have certain registration dates and you can't register until the day that registration opens.
