I know that it's VERY early right now to start gearing up for the Spring 2016 admission but I thought I'd start this post early seeing as I have already started taking my final classes, preparing to take the Hesi A2 test and submitting all my other documents for the program. If all goes well, I will be between 30 and 34 points. How many points do you think you'll be at when it's time to apply for the 2016 spring entry? What's the lowest score that they have accepted for previous entries? Are there any single mothers, such as I, who will be applying for the nursing program? Hope to hear more from others who are getting ready to join. Would love to get lots of feedback!!!!!
Thanks so much and good luck to you! Do you know when summer I classes typically end? I heard it was something like early July. So I'll take one class in Maymester and the other in summer I. Once classes end and grades are posted, that's the time where we get our transcripts to El Centro? Or do we even have to wait till final grades are posted? What classes are you taking this summer? I think I saw you were going to take Micro and English 1302?
Hello future nurses,
I plan on applying in May 2015 but if Im not done with all the vaccinations then I will apply in November 2015. I have taken everything besides Microbiology,Math,Chemistry and AP 2... I am going to take a few of those this summer. I am currently studying for the HESI test but im not sure when i want to take it yet. If all goes as planned then I will have 30 or more points. I am also a single parent with three toddler boys and I also work taking 16 credit hours. Trust me it is not easy but i know something good will come out of this. I wish you all luck..I hope to see everyone in the program soon.
Lissa1016 Wait until final grades are posted then go to El Centro to request the transcript. However, when you go on econnect to request your transcript there is a drop down bar and it will ask you a few options, hold for current grades, send now, etc...If you choose this route, you will want to choose hold for grades because it will post the grades for the classes you are currently taking. After you finish those classes then that transcript will be sent out to you. Yes, if it is possible, I will be taking Micro and engl 1302.

Depends on what location you are taking your HESI at. Here at North Lake, you can take it 2x per month. Whichever location you take it at, check their websites or call them for more information. You just need to turn in your transcripts that's all. Depending on when classes end, for safe measure, I would turn those transcripts in in person. Don't apologize for asking questions girl! It may definitely help others who have the same concerns
