Spring 2016 ASU TCPN

Hi! I just wanted to make another post since it is getting closer to the application deadline. This way we can see what other people had on the TEAS or what GPAS are looking like. I haven't taken my TEAS yet but I have a 3.72 GPA so I need an 87 on my TEAS to have an advancement score of 1.80, which is pretty good. What are your stats and advancement scores? I hope this post will help calm others nerves and maybe we can all make new friends before we start the program!

Hey guys! So I took my TEAS test today and got a 81.3% which was lower than I wanted. I think this was a result of not being able to finish a section, as I took much longer on it than anticipated. Anyways, my TEAS score + my GPA makes my advancement score 1.75. I hope this cohort is like last year's and they accept at least a 1.73, because I'd be good to go lol

What were everyone else's scores? Tomorrow's the deadline! I can't believe it's here already.

Congrats on surviving the Teas Test! My score is the exact same and I am hopeful our pool will have a lower cutoff score. I've heard that this time around it can be anywhere from 1.69-1.78....

Hi! So I took my TEAS as well today and I got an 84%. I am really sad that I didn't get my 87%! My advancement score is a 1.77 I was 0.03 away from a 1.8! I am just hoping the cut off is lower. Last year somebody got accepted for Spring 2015 with a 1.73 so we will see!!

I know the cutoff last semester was a 1.765 they said that was a bit higher than usual. Just took my teas test and got a 81.3% and with my 4.0 select gpa i think i can make it!! So nervous lol I know there are less spots in the Spring

Yeah, there are less spots in the spring than in summer/fall, but that's usually because there are a lot less applicants. Are you applying for the traditional program or the post bacc? You're definitely in good standing for both! Good job :)

What I am scared of is yeah the cut off is that, but what if there are a lot of people who have around the same score and they fill the spots before they even get to me!!? That would be the worst!!

Last Spring somebody got accepted with a 1.73! So idk!

All you guys are going to be fine! The cut-off for the Spring Traditional program has historically been 1.69-1.73. You guys all have above that. I went to turn in my app this morning and they were saying how weird it was that people weren't flooding in to turn in their apps. Maybe they will have less applicants this semester as well!
