Spring 2016 ASU TCPN

U.S.A. Arizona

Hi! I just wanted to make another post since it is getting closer to the application deadline. This way we can see what other people had on the TEAS or what GPAS are looking like. I haven't taken my TEAS yet but I have a 3.72 GPA so I need an 87 on my TEAS to have an advancement score of 1.80, which is pretty good. What are your stats and advancement scores? I hope this post will help calm others nerves and maybe we can all make new friends before we start the program!

I'm so stressed! I take the teas on the 27th and I don't feel as confident as I should. I'm applying to both programs. My Gpa for post bacc is 4.0, but if I score an 80% I'm not sure that's good enough to get in. Does anybody know the cut off advancement scores for both programs?

I think you will do fine just study! I'm nervous also and I'm taking mine on the 31st. I can barely sleep that's how nervous I am! We all just need to study as much as we can and do stress ourselves out too much because we will pass out lol. I am applying for traditional so I don't know what the cut off is for past bacc. I was looking at other ASU posts from last year and somebody got accepted to the traditional with a 1.73! But I'm not shooting for that.

Yes Indxdisgust I have been studying my butt off! I'm just scared because I want to be consistently scoring high and the practice tests but it's like all over the place so I'm getting nervous.

What have your overall scores been like? I'm sure you'll be fine! The study guide is your best bet, seriously. I got super nervous ahead of time but if you look at 90% of the advice posts on allnurses, they stress how important the study guide is and I can definitely confirm that is the case. Even if you had no outside knowledge of the topics (I'm talking absolutely none) and understood the study guides concepts and were able to memorize more, I bet you would score in the low 70s. That being said, you have a lot more knowledge outside of the study guide, so I bet you'll score a lot higher than you think!

All these 4.0's are making me nervous! Hope y'all followup in this thread with your TEAS scores. Really wish I would have gotten a A in 205 now... missed it by just a few points!

No these 4.0s are making me nervous!!!!!!! I'm just hoping it works out I'm hoping everybody applying to post bacc just gets in post bacc lol! I'm definitely going to post my TEAS score after I take it. We need to keep this thread alive to keep each other sane during this wait!

Ya, but a 4.0 is only half your score. Im applying with one for the post bac, but if I suck at my TEAS which is a good possibility, it won't matter. I'll post my score on Thursday too. What is the study guide you guys are referring to?

The main study guide from ATI. They are the makers of the test.

Does anyone know how many spots they have this year for each program? Also, has anyone asked how many applicants they have?

When I went and turned my application in they said they don't start counting them until September 1st!

Also, I got an 86.7% on the TEAS and have a 4.0 GPA! I used the ATI study manual and the online practice exams from ATI to study. I was also studying with a friend who is taking her exam today which I think helped a ton. Don't stress too much about the exam! If you've been studying a lot, you'll do fine! I was scoring in the 70s on the practice exams and did much better on the real exam.

That's really good I'm praying to get an 87!! I'm studying my butt off!

@cc02, how did the exam go for you? Farmraised made a new thread for post-bac students.

Hey aliashanika, what program are you applying to? Post bac and/or traditional? Great job on your TEAS
