Hi! I just wanted to make another post since it is getting closer to the application deadline. This way we can see what other people had on the TEAS or what GPAS are looking like. I haven't taken my TEAS yet but I have a 3.72 GPA so I need an 87 on my TEAS to have an advancement score of 1.80, which is pretty good. What are your stats and advancement scores? I hope this post will help calm others nerves and maybe we can all make new friends before we start the program!

I'm applying to both the traditional program and the PBCNP just to have my bases covered, with my first choice being the PBCNP. Do you know what the cutoff is for the traditional program? I'm nearly 100% sure that I'll get in to that, and I'm 95% certain about the PBCNP as well. Not sure what my GPA is for the traditional program since it required more classes, but my select GPA for the PBCNP was a 3.85, and I got a 93% on the TEAS. Not sure how or if they round, but my advancement score should be a 1.8955. Unless 47 other people have 4.0s and score above a 90 on the TEAS I should be in good shape!
When are you taking the TEAS? Good luck!
Hi thank you and I don't know what the cutoff is. But congratulations on the 93! I'm stressing about the TEAS, how did you study for it? I'm trying to get at least a 90 on the test. Do you have any tips??

I'm applying to the traditional program. My select GPA is 3.76 and I'm hoping to get a minimum score of 85 on the TEAS in order to have an advancement score of 1.79. I'll be satisfied with a higher TEAS test score, though!
I'm taking the test in about a week and will post my official score on here. Good luck, everyone!

I'm also applying to both the traditional and post bacc program. My select GPA is a 4.0 for both programs and I take the TEAS this Friday. I was told that the post bacc applicants hear back first, so if I get in then I'll withdraw my application to the traditional program. Best of luck to everyone and I hope we all get in!

Congrats on the scores! I am testing in with a 3.619 select GPA and a teas score of 84.7% which puts me at a 1.751. From what I have been told the cut off for last time was 1.759. I just hope that its a bit lower this time around.
What would you say about the Teas? Was it hard? How did you study?
I had the ATI Manual..and Secrets of the Teas Test by mometrix. I read page by page of the manual first. Doing this, helped me figure out what I did and did not know. I then took some online test (free ones) to get a feel for some of the questions. Then I scanned through the secrets of the teas test book, which was pretty much the same thing. It did help me because it did go into more detail about certain topics but if you want specific details you need to go to youtube or just google search it.
Once I felt confident I took the practice tests in both books and treated them like the real test with their respected time limits. I continued to hone in on what I got wrong and what stupid mistakes I made by going back to the books. By the 4th practice test I felt confident come test day.
The actual test was a bit hard. With the paper one, I constantly crossed out/underlined answers and clues. With the actual test you couldn't do this and it threw me off for a loop at first. However, it got better as I got used to the format. As for the similarities to the practice to actual test, there was about 4 questions I saw on the test that were from the books. However, the format was the EXACT same. Once you notice your tendencies in the practice tests, STUDY THOSE TOPICS. GOODLUCK!!!!
Nice, I'm jealous of that GPA! My advisor told me we would hear back at the end of October or the very beginning of November for the post-bacc program.
Egaddy, have you been studying for the TEAS? If so you should be fine. I used the ATI guide, the practice tests online on ATI's site, and the McGraw-Hill practice test book just for extra practice. The official study guide is your best bet if you're on a time crunch, just hit the science really hard! I found the actual test pretty similar to the practice tests from the official guide.

That's funny, because I'm jealous of your TEAS score! Practice tests have not been going the way i'd like, but hopefully everything will even itself out. You have great stats and will probably do great in the admission process.

I'm applying to the post-bacc program as my first choice with the traditional as my second. My GPA is a 4.0, and I am taking the TEAS in 2 days!!! I am so nervous. I will probably pass out from anxiety while taking it, so you guys don't really need to worry about me as far as competition goes haha.
