Spring 2012 Accelerated BSN program!

Published

Hi All,

I am currently taking pre-reqs to apply for an Accelerated BSN program. It seems to me I am taking forever to finish these courses, however, as of now, it seems like i am going to be done by december 2011. I don't want to wait until the fall of 2012 to start a program. As a result, I would really appreciate if you guys can share some information about programs that accept students during the spring.

My criteria is it has to be an accelerated BSN program that would accept application from students whose pre-reqs will be in progress at the time of application!

I would really appreciate your help guys:)

Thanks!!

Bidisha

Thank you all for all your responses!! I am going to look into all the programs mentioned...and hoping to get through at least one of them....

hey i went to Southeastern's website to look for the requirements but I didn't see anything accept for a course check off list. What are the requirements for the accelerated program? And you said that you were applying to Texas A&M, wouldn't they charge out of state fees?

Specializes in Critical Care, Postpartum.

@naturalrays: Yes you do however, I've decided not to apply there. Go to selu.edu. Click on Academics

Hey guys, I recently was accepted to Drexel and Marymount (VA). I am really stuck in choosing a school. I have heard the Drexel's program is exremely rigorous and disorganized...? Has anyone heard anything different? Know anyone first hand that has completed either of these programs?

anyone plan on dorming or getting an apartment?

Hey everyone,

I am a noob to this website. Just joined it and making my first reply.

I am taking my prereqs right now, will be done by the end of this year.

I'm currently looking into Accelerated BSN programs as well.

So far, I'm looking into NYU and MCPHS for Spring '12 which starts in January.

I am hoping I can get accepted because I'm thrilled to begin learning!

However, my gpa for my undegrad isn't impressive (2.5) went through a lot during my undergrad and I couldn't prioritize due to emotional instability. I hope my prereq grades can help me a bit.

So far, I have A and B for Microbio lecture and lab, A for A&P 1 and 2, hopefully get an A for nutrition, and B for chem.

I applied to Simmons College last semester, but didn't get in. :crying2:

So, I'm crossing my fingers that somehow there will be a miracle b/c I'm so eager to get started in a nursing program! :D
