Hello All, I came across this site called NRSNG.com. It has an academy that has a vast compilation of study materials related to Nursing school, and NCLEX exams. The good deal about it is that once you purchase the package, it stays forever. Hence, would love to know if someone has used this site or not? If so, any feedback provided would be appreciated. Hello All, I am currently in transition to apply for a Nursing program. I have a previous Bachelors degree, and have a keen interest in the field of Clinical Informatics. I would love to hear more about the field. Is the field growing? Are there lots of opportunities out there in the field? What would be the difference between Nursing Informatics versus Health Informatics? Also, I plan to apply for couple of online programs in Health Informatics concurrently with Nursing school programs. I am looking mainly into University of South Florida, and University of San Diego. Would love to get any reviews/feedback on those two programs. Thank you all in advance!

It would be great if you can give me any pointers on how to score well on the Reading and English section because those are the two areas that I am not doing being able to pull up my score. I have been trying to read the book, and have taken practice exams, but for some reason I have not been able to score high on those two areas. English is my second language, and I don't know if that is a hindrance. Any advice would be greatly helpful!

Hi There, I am looking into the Utah campus 18 months BSN program. How did you find the program overall? Are the clinicals well organized and gives you enough experience to walk into the real world of nursing? Also, what is the employment rate after graduating? Thank you in advance! Bidisha

I am so thankful to you for all the information you have provided so far! Since I don't know anyone first hand as a graduate from the program, it has been a great help to get an overview of what to expect. However, I have one more quick question, and that is after graduating from the program, do I get a transcript, which says that the courses were offered online? Or do I receive a transcript that would validate the courses as the on campus program? The only reason I am asking is because I would want to pursue a MSN degree further, and I am just apprehensive if grad schools would accept the online course format or not?

However, programs here are very impacted, which is why I am considering the out of state option. Hi there, I just read your reply. I am not sure yet if I am going to pursue the online program or not because I still haven't neither replied nor have been accepted into the program. However, I am very thankful to you for being so honest about your review. My only other question to you is despite the challenges you have as a student, have you been able to get through NCLEX? or do you feel prepared enough take the NCLEX? Also, are people finding employment after graduating? Thank you very much in advance!

I am also looking into Marian's online ABSN for St. Vincent Health. My question how competitive is it to get into the program? In other words, I don't have straight A's on my pre-reqs, so do they expect their students to straight As when it comes to pre-req grades?

Can you please tell me which school did you get your ABSN in Nursing from? Is it an online program? I am located in California

@paco69: Thank you very much much for all the information. I am just one pre-req down so far, but not applying until august, so let me see how good i can pull up my grades. I am really keen on starting a program from januar2012, however, if that's something doesn't work out, then definitely the following summer or fall! Do you mind to share what are the other programs you are applying to for ABSN? I initially thought of going into the ADN program, and then later go for BSN, however, in california, all the ADN programs have a 3 year waitlist. Thus decided to go for an ABSN, wherever I get in.
