  1. @ Tillytiffin I will absolutely share any info I get. I know Drexel's Program is divided into 4 quarters (10 weeks each and each quarter is followed by 1 week off) I wish I could go on the 23rd- but I'll be away that week. Please let me know if you find any importmant info as well! I have also been accepted to Marymount's ABSN program (16months), Drexel was my first choice but I can't imagine completing 88 credits in 11 months now...I am going to visit both schools before I make a decision.
  2. Hey guys! Congrats to those who have been accepted for Spring 2012! Does anyone know when they will be sending orientation information? I will be visiting the campus this friday (5/13) so hopefully I will get some answers!
  3. I was recently accepted to MU's ABSN program. I would sincerely appreciate any insight you would be willing to sure about MU's program. I am from NY, so I don't know anyone that has been through the program. How did you like the structure of the program? Did you like your professors? Did you find them to be helpful? How were exams? Was the grading fair? What's the required passing grade? Were you well-prepared for your finals? Do you feel prepared to take the NCLEX? Do you get to choose were you take your clinicals? Would you recommend this program to a friend? Thank you so much for your time.
  4. Hey guys, I recently was accepted to Drexel and Marymount (VA). I am really stuck in choosing a school. I have heard the Drexel's program is exremely rigorous and disorganized...? Has anyone heard anything different? Know anyone first hand that has completed either of these programs?
  5. Dear MUSTUDENTNURSE, I have recently been accpeted to MU's Accelerated Program (Fall 2011). I am trying to compare a bunch of school's to I am can mail a deposit and I am really stuck between MU and Drexel. Would you recommend MU program? Did you find the program to be organized? How helpful were your professors? Are there Exit Exam's for each course? (I have heard that Drexel has "HESI" Exit Exam's that "A" Students fail.) Any in sight would be greatly appreciated.
  6. Hi Gracefulmic, I have been recently accepted to Drexel's ACE Program (Spring 2012) Drexel was my first choice school until I read horrible posts about "HESI" exams. I completely understand the rigor and nature of these accelerated programs but why are so my "A/B students" failing these exams? I am a Udel Grad BS in Exercise Physiology but I am not the most amazing test-taker. I have read a lot of post that HESI's can be worth up to 50% of your grade and if you fail more than once you need to re-take the entire course. Any insight would be much apprecited. Thanks!
