  1. I too am applying to BRGSON for Spring 2013. Can anyone tell me about their selection process. Is their process like Delgado's where it's based on points? What were some of you guys gpa (if you don't mind sharing) and TEAS-V score? Anything will help! Thanks!
  2. How long is the program and do you take classes through the summer as well?
  3. Also, how is nursing school so far? I am pretty much following your footsteps. I plan on applying for nursing school at SELU this fall for the accelerated program. How is the job coming along as well? What do you do as an ER tech at Ochsner? Again Thanks!
  4. Hi NurseMaybeBaby. I have an interview for the same position at Ochsner tomorrow. Can you tell me what I can expect on the interview? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  5. I called and they said the cutoff for accelerated last semester was 3.439.
  6. @Trenia Congrats!!!!!! I know that's an exciting feeling. If you find out, please let me know thanks! @NurseMaybeBaby I apologize but Congrats to you as well!!!!

  8. @NurseMaybeBaby Thank you so much for the information. I am so anxious and sort of nervous because I know a lot of people who are coming back to school to pursue nursing. I pray that I get accepted for the spring because I'm really ready to start with the actual nursing courses, clinicals, etc. I know the deadline is September 15 I believe for admissions for the spring. How far in advance is best to turn in your application?

  10. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. That seems like a pretty low cutoff compared to other GPA cutoffs. However, that will work with me lol. How was the application? Did you apply anywhere else? When will you know (if you have any idea), when you have been accepted? (approx. what month) I wish you all the luck with getting accepted!!!
  11. Hi everyone I was wondering were there any Southeasten University Louisiana "SELU" accelerated of future accelerated students out there. I barely see threads with anyone saying much about the program at SELU. I was wondering how is it so far? Also, as of the past semesters, what was the minimum GPA cutoff? If anyone knows anything, please let me know. I plan on applying this fall for Spring 2012 semester. I would like to know how are clinicals? (Meaning the times and day). Also, how are you managing the course laod? I know with every person it's different, so I would like to get different perspectives. What are the best supplemental materials/books needed? Are you working while in the program? If so, how are you managing with working? Just any essential information! I think I am getting really worried because I pretty much used all my student loans for my first degree, so know I am worried about how will I pay for nursing school. I am really trying to get a position at a local hospital so I could possibly participate in a tuition reimbursement program. I am also considering private loans:uhoh3: Any advice???? Thanks for your time. I know this is a lot lol! Oh and the first two paragraphs are for any SELU nursing student. The last is for anyone...Feel free to respond!!!
  12. @naturalrays: Yes you do however, I've decided not to apply there. Go to selu.edu. Click on Academics
  13. Thanks for all the information. I will look into all them and hopefully I'll find something!! Would anyone recommend a nursing home for training? I'm only asking because I've heard that they will leave a sour taste in your mouth lol.
  14. Ok. Thanks. I will look into them. Can you tell me about the training at La Tech. (How long is the program, cost, etc.)
  15. I will be applying to LSU and Texas A&M:)
