I've been active on a different thread for people who applied to St. Petersburg College's Nursing program starting in August 2018. I made it on the alternate list (still completing Microbiology-finals tomorrow!), but have decided, with the help of an HEC advisor, not to accept if I get offered a last minute seat based on the fact that my only options for clinicals will be whatever no one else wanted. She said I'll definitely be accepted for January and will have top choice of clinicals/instructors, so I'm happy waiting another four months to start. Who else is applying for the Spring 2019 program?
I got my admissions straightened out today and I'm trying to sift through all of these instructions. I'd like to meet with whoever is going to the orientation prior if I may. I'm easy to spot I'm 6'5 and probably a bit older than most of you and I won't be wearing sandals
I'm so glad to hear you got it straightened out! I've gotten pretty far down the checklist and would be happy to answer any questions you might have regarding specifics. You can email me through gmail. It's 727aniki@ I look forward to meeting you!
That makes me feel better, thank you. We don't sign up for our own classes right? I keep getting emails reminding me to register for spring classes.
No, we just make the My Learning Plan, which moves each class to the appropriate term. I was told they register us at orientation...but I'm a little unsure about that because when I was following a similar thread for fall 2018, it was about a week after acceptance when people started commenting asking each other what sites or instructors they had been assigned to. So I'm kinda thinking we might start finding that stuff out in the next few days, but you know what they say about assuming

Once you have been registered into your classes and clinical sites, you can log into MySPC and see which clinical site you got. Just keep checking it every so often. I can remember how long after we picked that we knew. It was before orientation though.
