SPC nursing 2015

U.S.A. Florida

Hi everyone!

This is my first official post, but I've been creeping around for quite some time now, ha! I just applied to SPC's nursing program for Spring of 2015. I still have to take micro, but I figured I'd apply anyway. Has anyone recently been accepted prior to taking micro? Also what was the average GPA for last semester applicants?

I got accepted for fall! Good luck to everyone applying for spring 2015.

IhopeIGetit, they only count the classes for the program.

You will definitely get in unless you arent a pinellas county resident

Hey everyone!

I also applied for the Spring 2015 program. All pre-reqs completed with a 3.5 gpa. These next few months are going to be nerve wrecking waiting to hear back about admission. Good luck everyone!

Yes 3.5 is cutting it close but you will probably make it since this semester people with 3.6 gpa's got in.

I heard spring is easier to get into.

I thought so too. I had a 3.7 before summer semester... I got B's in Stats and Micro over the summer. But I'm hoping that with all my pre-reqs and supports done I still have a good chance. Positive thoughts lol

Hi everybody!

I also just applied for the spring semester! I got a little nervous because I read that all transcripts need to be evaluated 30 days prior to the application deadline?? Does anyone know anything about that? I am a SPC student just now applying to the Nursing program. I assume that means they have all my info already??? I just filled out the on-line application and that was it? Am I missing something?

I spoke with a nursing advisor and she said they won't look at transcripts until September.

Hello everyone!

I found this website nervously searching for when most students find out when they get in the program. I know the latest we find out is November 1, but does anyone know when they start notifying us? I applied for Spring 2015 with a 3.9 GPA after surviving Menard's micro this summer. Best of luck to all :)

This is just an update...not sure if anyone else is applying for the Baycare Earn As You Learn program but I found out, through completing requisites for that (i.e. the checklist due by tomorrow), that my A&P II and Micro transferred in as electives so I had to request alternate satisfaction (a scary experience). I saw on the checklist that I have a 3.9 GPA with all classes completed and I'm a Pinellas county resident so I really think I'm going to be accepted for SPC. However, if I'm offered a spot with Baycare then I think that SPC spot opens up for someone else. I also applied to HCC but again my classes didn't transfer in properly so I was declined for their program so SPC is it for me. Like many people, nursing school is all I can think about these days.

Has anyone applied for the Baycare EAYL program for Spring?

Has anyone applied for the Baycare EAYL program for Spring?

I did. Did you apply and are you a Baycare employee? Last semester they didn't accept any outside applicants into the EAYL program because all the spots were filled by employees. I'm hoping there will be a few openings for non-Baycare members.

No I'm not a Baycare employee. I was hoping the same thing! I'm hoping that if they are taking outside applications that my resume stands out because of previous medical background in massage therapy. Fingers crossed.
