  1. That happened to a friend of mine as well! They told her that a portion of her application was missing and/or incomplete. Doesn't make too much sense to me, but I hope those issues do not occur again. Good luck!
  2. Well, looks like my only option as of right now will be night classes. If anyone has input on Level III details I'd appreciate it! What is the primary focus of level III?
  3. Mhasan, thank you for your response! I appreciate your input. I have been thinking about it a lot and I think I am going to stick with day classes. I do not want to get myself into a situation that I cannot handle. I also heard that level 3 focuses on medicine distribution and I do NOT want to mess up or miss any of that information! Again, I appreciate the input! Now I just have to painstakingly wait for July's acceptance (fingers crossed) and go from there. Do you recommend that I start getting my vaccinations or anything else done now? I'm trying not to jump the gun, but I'm excited and anxious.
  4. Thank you so much for your response! I'm still not sure if I plan on choosing day or evening. During a typical summer schedule, what would the quiz/test set-up be? Weekly or biweekly?
  5. Hey everyone! This is my second time applying to SPC's Nursing program. Last semester I was denied because I did not have micro completed. I am researching the program and trying to figure out the best route to take. I'm on the fence about the evening schedule. Can anyone explain exactly how that works? What is a typical day like in the evening courses? Also, what are your thoughts/opinions on Level 3? That would be the level I would take in the summer if I chose evenings. I'd appreciate your input! Thank you! and good luck to anyone else applied!!
  6. Jfrazier7, do they include alternate info in the email as well or would we need to call to find out?
  7. The wait is terrible! I'm currently taking micro, so my hopes aren't set too high. I'm still nervous though! I'd hate to wait until next Fall! Fingers crossed for all applicants! We should know very, very soon!
  8. I'm getting nervous! I've been checking my email nonstop. I was speaking with a friend of mine and she said that sometimes people who have been denied will be accepted up to three days prior to the start of classes! I'm not entirely sure if that's accurate, but I wouldn't mind. As far as vaccinations, I've heard the health department is the cheapest. I'm not sure about CPR certification, but if I hear anything I'll be sure to share!
  9. I spoke with a nursing advisor and she said they won't look at transcripts until September.
  10. Yeah I spoke to someone that explained the point system to me. They also said that Spring generally accepts people with lower gpa's thus making it "easier" to get in....so we'll see lol I'm going to stay hopeful and see what happens. I haven't spoken to many people planning on applying so maybe I'll gett in.
  11. As an alternate did you have to reapply for Spring? 4.0 is fantastic, so I'm sure you'll get in!
  12. Oh okay. Good luck! My GPA with an A in micro and lab would be 3.63.. if I DON'T get in, I'm going to try and go somewhere that will allow me to makeup a C that is putting a burden on my gpa.
  13. Ahh! I'm so nervous. I mean, I know that my chances are even slimmer because I'm applying prior to taking micro, but hopefully the demand isn't too overwhelming and I can get in for spring. I just don't want to wait until next August. Have you started yet?
  14. Hi everyone! This is my first official post, but I've been creeping around for quite some time now, ha! I just applied to SPC's nursing program for Spring of 2015. I still have to take micro, but I figured I'd apply anyway. Has anyone recently been accepted prior to taking micro? Also what was the average GPA for last semester applicants?
