Southwestern College Fall 2023 (SWC)

Hey everybody! I wanted to start this thread like previous cohorts specifically for the Fall 2023 cohorts. From information I gathered the general size of the cohorts are 35-40

How many points is everyone applying with? I believe I am in the lower end 80/82

No, I'm starting to think I'm disqualified for the science repeats even though they were not failing grade repeats ( I went from B's to A's) because I thought I had 91-86 points but some people said they got in with 86 points...or maybe I didn't satisfy the life experience points?

I don't think you did, I believe they would've told you by now. For the science repeats you are allowed to have 1 W and 1 grade repeat, but this is only allowed for 1 science class. If you repeat any other class, you will get the first grade you got since you are allowed to repeat only one science class. This is from what my counselor told me and what I understood. Hope it helps! I'm still waiting for an answer hopefully we hear soon.

That's what I thought too but my friend received an email saying she got declined. My guest is they're waiting to hear back from everyone and the people with points in the lower 80s are on a waitlist?

Do you know how many points she had? I think I have 85, and people with 86 got accepted yesterday, I'm hoping to hear something today

more than a week ago. acceptances only started getting sent out a few days ago so they're probably just going down the list and waiting for responses as well

For the people who got in they don't tell people what point you have right?! You just guess?

Hey everyone! I got an email about a week ago that I got in as well.

If my life points were accepted, I believe I would have 100 /100 points. Im so excited to meet those that got in as well! I also know theyre giving people till march 23rd to accept so maybe theyre waiting for those to accept.
