Hey guys. Making this for those who are applying to SWC’s (Chula Vista, CA) ADN program for Fall 2020. Application period starts soon (November 4)! Write your questions to help each other out throughout the application period. If you want, post the amount of points you have in the point system.
Here’s the amount of points I have
Associates Degree - 5 points
CNA Certification - 25 points
Science Prereq GPA - 30 points (4.0 GPA)
”Fixed Set” GPA - 8 points (3.9 GPA)
Life Experience - 3 points
Language - 3 points (Spanish, documented proficiency)
TEAS test - 15-22 points ... I still need to take the TEAS. I want to give myself enough time!
So that puts me at 89-96/100 points.

Yes! According to the webadvisor class search there is availability for both the morning and evening group! I’m not sure if they are accepting 60 students this semester? Or how many they are accepting due to COVID

That is good to know there are seats available. Maybe they are also waiting for first day of class to see who shows up or not. I asked Lorena if they are still going through with the program due to covid. She didn’t answer but looks like they are still since students accepted are getting their schedules.

If we are notified I hope it’s before the first day of class! I always like to plan ahead... ?

Latest is up until first week of the semester. That’s August 10 ? so if we don’t hear anything by that first week ??? then.... I’am curious though if they don’t contact us do we stay on waiting list for the next cohort or do we have to reapply?

She said we would have to reapply ? also asked about alternates. She said we still have an opportunity this coming week ?????? Praying hard that we all get to hear from her soon.
