Hi everyone! I thought I'd start a whole new topic for those who applied to Southwestern's Fall 2017 cohort. This is the first time I've applied for a nursing program, so I am very excited and nervous of whats to come. I'm curious to see the amount of points you have totaled so I know what I'm up against. I totaled my points to be 74/75, so that may be low compared to some of you. I wish everyone luck and I hope to see you in August!

Does anyone know of any cross enrollment program with any ADN programs in san diego? I got accepted to all the schools i applied for and I am just trying to see which one has a cross enrollment program with any universities that would get me my bsn faster?

I know Grossmont is partnered up with PLNU & SWC is partnered up with SDSU & PLNU

I emailed SDSU and they said they also have a partnership with Grossmont.

Hi everyone! I am applying for the nursing program next year. Do any of you know what the schedule is like? Do you have options if you want to go to school in the mornings or evenings?

Hello, Yes you get a preference however its not guaranteed. I've yet to meet someone not get their requested time slot.

The schedule is:

Day class meets every

Tuesday 1:30pm to 3:30pm

Tuesday 10-12pm

Lab Wednesday and Thursday 9am to 430pm

Lab Thursday 1:00pm to 4:00pm

Evening

Thursday 4:30 to 6:30pm

Tuesday 4:30 to 6:30pm

Lab Saturday 6:30am to 4:30pm and Thursday 1:00pm to 4:00pm
