Hi everyone! I thought I'd start a whole new topic for those who applied to Southwestern's Fall 2017 cohort. This is the first time I've applied for a nursing program, so I am very excited and nervous of whats to come. I'm curious to see the amount of points you have totaled so I know what I'm up against. I totaled my points to be 74/75, so that may be low compared to some of you. I wish everyone luck and I hope to see you in August!
Does anyone know of any cross enrollment program with any ADN programs in san diego? I got accepted to all the schools i applied for and I am just trying to see which one has a cross enrollment program with any universities that would get me my bsn faster?
SWC. I start @ PLNU a week after I graduate at the end of this month. Hope that helps.
Anyone going to register for the dosage calculation class?
It's a great class. It will help you as you will have to pass with 100% on the dosage calc tests at the beginning of every semester. The instructor for that course is very good.
Hello and congratz to all who got accepted for the ADN 2017, I haven't applied yet but I am aiming for the swc adn program. I am just wanting some advice on my pre-req courses. I have micro, and A&P still left to do, would anyone recommend taking any of these classes alone or would it be safe to take 2 together like A&P in 1 semester? just thought maybe some of y'all who have already finished these classes could tell me how they did it? or recommend just taking 1 at a time.
I did all of mine separate the program is very competative so the better your grades in these courses the better your chances. If you don't work you could manage micro and anatomy but do physio alone there is alot to learn. I was accepted to the program with 73 points but most of my friends had 76 plus!
