southern cali roll call

Hi all! just wanted to do a roll call...i'm a newbie LVN here living in oceanside (camp pendleton)

My hometown is Oxnard, in Ventura County. I lived there for 22 years and moved away in 2003.

I'm a nursing student getting ready to graduate (finally) this year. I too am in San Bernardino County and live in the High Desert, but I work as a student extern "down the hill" in the San Bernardino area.

sdskimmer, DId you like it here? Im having such a time finding a job. Im an LVN and I am so frustrated. I have been offered jobs, but it is either LTC or part time 8 hr shifts in Victorville. I just want to scream. Do you have any advice for me??? LOL. Nice to meet you by the way!

Starting nursing school in August in Ventura, live in Camarillo, work in Santa Barbara. two more years and the commuting will be over.
