I am planning on applying for the MSN ANP online program very soon. What can you tell me abut the school and how courses are set up etc? Also did you transfer in any courses from another MSN program? Wondering how many they will allow. Glad to find others. Thanks. Barinbass

Of note: The baccalaureate is only at the West Palm Beach and Tampa campuses in Florida. The RN to BSN is the only one the SC campus offers.
The BS degree is also at Columbia SC campus (I am in the program) and online for the rn-bsn route.
I know that it is accredited because I called the accrediting agency that does their CCNE accreditation. They also told me when they were due for a visit etc. South is also supposed to be accredited by NLNAC too as it is an older school although only one is required from my research. I am interested in their MSN program as I have my BSN and did it online at another school. The accrediting agency told me that South was trying to get everything under the Savannah location. Does anyone know at what location where the instructors actually are? Maybe if online it doesn't matter. I'd really like to find others who did their MSN at South or is planning to. Barinbass
Yea we are going through the accreditation process now...after the first class graduates which will be dec of this year..we should be accredited..
What do you mean should be? What process are you going through now, and is it specific to only the BSN program? Which agency is doing it? I called AACN myself to make sure it was accredited, and they said South was accredited. http://www.aacn.nche.edu/accreditation/
Also South has been around since the 1800's, and I was under the impression that it has graduated other nurses before. Your statement re the frst class in Dec is not clear to me. Can you explan what exactly you mean by first class and should be accredited? Barinbass
